I love tattoos, they can express your feelings, your memories and your choices in an intimately personal way. Every tattoo should have a story, every tattoo should make you remember why you got it.

I have designed several tattoos. I won't lie, it's a lengthy process, as it should be; it is not something to rush into.

The tattoo shown here is a representation of the native american spirit the Coyote, or Trickster. My friend Michael is originally from Scotland, but now lives in New York. He has a Lion Rampant (very Scottish symbol) on his left shoulder, and wanted a tattoo to show his new life in America.

The design process is outlined in the pictures below. Many sketches and emails were involved, and from start to finish it took around four months.
